You are also welcome to request prayer on behalf of someone else, in addition to or instead of yourself.
Giving to Tearfund: £180.50 was given at Harvest Festival, with £83.60 spent on Traidcraft (Fairtrade) goods. Many thanks.
One way of listening to God is through the Bible. Have a look at some of the ‘helps’ available – Bible reading notes, audios etc. Some are on the table at the back. Most are free unless priced. Or ask Andrew if you can borrow one.

Have you brought your (non-perishable) contributions to be sold at our ChristmasFair? Please place them in the boxes at the back.
Have a busy day on 14 November! After the Christmas Fair you are invited to meet the Interserve workers from this country and overseas. From 2 until 5 in the afternoon – see the purple flyers on the table at the back.
Canned soups are available at the back, in exchange for donations to Oldham Unity. They have been given but are unsuitable for most asylum-seekers.
“Flow” is the new magazine of the Message Trust, who work with young people throughout Greater Manchester and beyond, with two bands and a drama group. They also work in small communities in ordinary houses, in schools and informally. Please borrow the magazine – it’s at the back.
Christmas card orders: available this Sunday and throughout October are mail-order catalogues for Christmas cards and other items, in aid of people in poor countries. You may borrow catalogues for one week only. Order on the forms at the back. Queries to Biddy Dawson.
