Laying on of hands and anointing: for healing of mind, body and spirit is available after 10.30 worship every Sunday in the South Transept (to the right of the pulpit). You will not be invited to say specifically why you seek this ministry, though you are welcome to do so if you wish. You are also welcome to request prayer on behalf of someone else, in addition to or instead of yourself.
Karin Whetham officially retired as our Parish Worker last month. We thank her and we thank God for her work with Asian people, including asylum-seekers and refugees. It’s great news that Karin will continue this work in her retirement. The Church Council has decided to re-allocate our contribution to Interserve in respect of Karin to Joe and Denny Fleming, who work in Vellore, India.
‘GO’ is Interserve’s magazine. The current issue includes an interesting article entitled “Mission and the Media”. Copies to borrow at the back.
www.stthomaswerneth.co.uk is our website. If you are not online yourself, persuade a family member to view it with you. But the website does need more photos and other contents. Please see Tony Kane’s guidance sheet – copies in green at the back.

One way of listening to God is through the Bible. Have a look at some of the ‘helps’ available – Bible reading notes, audios etc. Some are on the table at the back. Most are free unless priced. Or ask Andrew if you can borrow one.

Bishop Nigel’s Lent Appeal for North Kivu (Congo) raised over £4000. Many thanks!

More info on sheets at the back.

Have you brought your (non-perishable) contributions to be sold at our ChristmasFair? Please place them in the boxes at the back.
Have a busy day on 14 November! After the Christmas Fair you are invited to meet the Interserve workers from this country and overseas. From 2 until 5 in the afternoon – see the purple flyers on the table at the back.
