You are also welcome to request prayer on behalf of someone else, in addition to or instead of yourself.

Canned soups are available at the back, in exchange for donations to Oldham Unity. They have been given but are unsuitable for most asylum-seekers.

BEWARE OF PHONE SCAM!
Someone phones, claiming to be a BT rep. He says that he is about to disconnect your phone due to an unpaid bill, and tells you that if you do not pay (eg) £31, it will cost £118 to reconnect you at a later date. If you say that you are with another phone company, he replies that your company pays BT a percentage as line rental. He gives his name and an 0800 number. He offers to demonstrate that he is from BT by disconnecting your phone, and then ringing you back. Refuse to believe him and hang up. If you dial the 0800 number you will find that it doesn’t exist. The criminal ‘cuts’ your line by pretending to ring off, but in fact staying on the line with the mute button pressed – this stops you from dialling out. The aim of the criminal is to get your credit card details.
