Laying on of hands and anointing: for healing of mind, body and spirit is available after 10.30 worship every Sunday in the South Transept (to the right of the pulpit).  You will not be invited to say specifically why you seek this ministry, though you are welcome to do so if you wish. You are also welcome to request prayer on behalf of someone else, in addition to or instead of yourself.

Our Annual Parochial Church Meetingis on Sunday 25 April at 11.30am in St Thomas’. It is the responsibility of everyone to take part, to show an interest in what each other are seeking to do in the name of Christ. There are some vacancies in the Church Council for which nomination forms are available now. The Annual Reports of St Thomas’ Church are also available, one copy per household. The new Electoral Roll is also available for inspection.

Werneth Ward PACT meetingof residents, council and GMP reps is on Thursday 29 April at 7pm in our School.

Archdeacon’s Visitationof Priest-in-Charge, Wardens and Sidespersons will be at St Matthew’s, Chadderton at 7.30pm on Wednesday 5 May. Alternative dates and venues are: St Michael’s, Ashton at 7.30pm on Wednesday 12 May; St John’s, Hopwood on Monday 24 May.

Tudor Community Sports Group AGM has been postponed from 27 April to 7pm on 11 May in our School. The Community Foundation has recently granted us £5000!

Celebration Eveningfor all, hosted by the Mothers’ Union, with Bishop Richard Inwood, at the Bridgewater Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday 26 May (the same evening as the Licensing of Nick Andrewes as Priest-in-Charge of St Paul’s). Tickets £6, coach seat extra, from Mavis Booth.
