Holiday Club: we appeal for small glass jam/paste jars, lids not necessary. Please put in the small red basket at the back.

Is God asking you to pray for Muslims? One way is to pray through the 30 days of Ramadan, this year on 1-30 August. Booklets at the back, giving thoughts.

Can you give us something through our Parish magazine? Could you write something about your holiday?  Or about a different gift from God? Or pass on something which you read elsewhere? Give to Sallie Milnes or Margaret Haslam by 24 July.

The Altar Cross is back where it belongs after a long time away because of negotiations over its repair, which in the end will be paid by insurance. If carrying it, please place one hand under the base and the other on the cross itself.

Werneth Neighbourhood Agreement: neighbourhood agreements are a recent initiative elsewhere in the UK, and have been in place in Hathershaw and Fitton Hill for a year or two. In a sentence, it is an agreement between residents and the Council, Police, Housing Providers etc. All promise to work together. An introductory meeting will be held in our school on Monday 18 July, 6-8pm.

Prayer letter from D, M and K: July edition, copies at the back.
